MANITOWOC (December 7, 2017) - UW-Stout ran out to a 17-point halftime lead and kept the offensive pressure on in the second half as the Blue Devils had four players score in double digits on their way to a 94-59 win over Silver Lake College Thursday at the UW-Manitowoc gymnasium.
Sam Ortmann led the Blue Devils with 17 points and Isaac Elliott chipped in 15 points. Adam Mackey and Jon Ciriacks each hit a Stout-best, with Mackey scoring 13 points and Ciriacks 11.
The Blue Devils (5-3) built up a 47-30 halftime lead and scored 47 points in the second half to tallying the team's highest offensive total of the season. Stout dominated the rebounding game, pulling down 41 rebounds to 20 for the Lakers (1-10).
Freddy Cook led Silver Lake with 16 points. Drewshawn Dorsey and Kymble Harris each scored 10.
Stout drained 37-63 (.587) from the floor, 9-17 from the 3-point line and 11-14 from the line. The Lakers hit 21-49 from field goal range, 11-24 from beyond the arc and 6-12 from the charity stripe.
Stout will host Finlandia University Sunday, Dec. 10 at 12 p.m.
