MBB: Strong Second Half (49-18) Propels Bearcats Past CCNY

Tonight's contest was a tale of two different halves.

In the first half, the two teams played to a 27-27 halftime score.

In the second half, it was all Bearcats. They scored 33 of the first 40 points en route to outscoring the Beavers, 48-19 overall in that second half, to win 75-46.

They shot 55 percent after the break, including hitting six threes, to run their record to 8-1 in the CUNYAC standings. 

The defense was also factor as they won the battle of the boards, 42-25, in rebounds.

William Sixsmith connected on 6-of-10 from three to lead all scorers with 20 points. Andre Harris had 12 points and Bryler Paige finished with 11 points.

Ty-Ler Banks was tops for CCNY with 12 points.

The Bearcats will return home on Friday night for a 7:30 p.m. contest against John Jay College.
