The Baruch College Bearcats lost their season opener on Saturday afternoon at the Emmanuel Tip-Off in Boston, Massachusetts.

Babson shot 50 percent (44-for-87) from the field and 6-of-14 from three to defeat the Bearcats, 104-60.

The Bearcats had four players reach double-figure scoring with Kristen Podlovits with a near double-double of 15 points and nine assists, while Veronica Ganzi and Symone Green (eight rebounds, five steals) scored 14 points each.

Jacqueline Kennedy had a solid debut with 13 points and 15 rebounds.

The team will return to action on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm in the consolation game to play the game two loser this afternoon between Emmanuel and Salve Regina.
